PUSH PUSHY PUSH.

Went to the Miriam young concert last nite and it was a bit of a disappointment. I'm not sure if it was the fact I was tired from getting up too early, or if it was because the atmosphere was just kinda bland, or if it was because of all the puckers walking in front my of seat during the concert, but it wasn't as much fun as the hacken concert I went to last year. Poor mags. Dragged to such a lame concert on her birthday of all days. hahah.. sorry mags!

oh well, at least the we had fun after the concert. We went outside after the concert cuz the casino where the concert was held was full of people smoking. so we were outside sitting on the curb of one of the bus ports chatting away when a bus starts to drive towards the bus port we were sitting at. Next thing we knew, we had 3 people in bright green blazers running towards us yelling, "siu jia, siu jia!"... they were afraid that we were gonna get ran over by the bus. hahah. it was pretty funny, bright green blazers running towards us, screaming in chinese. hahah. Like we'd not see a tour bus coming at us. heehee.

then of course there was the fun of lining up for buses... with 200 people.. who were all rushing to get home. The way people were pushing, you'd think that whoever didn't get on the bus will be shot. One lady behind me refused to give me any personal space. she pressed her whole body onto my back. stomach first, then boobs. I felt quite violated. I'd move a little forward hoping she'd back off, but nope, she had to push. What was funny was that there were enough buses for everyone, but she just wanted to push. She was even saying really shrilly that there were enough buses for everyone, yet she still pushed. In the end I turned around, glared at her and gave her a little push with my shoulder. and then I let her on the 2nd bus so that I wouldn't have to hear her when I boarded the third bus. augh, pushy middle aged women.

time for: some cheque deposits, I am at work, afterall.

NO SLEEP FOR YOU!

i think i'm getting too used to waking up at 7am every morning. i am not able to sleep in anymore! i woke up at 9:30 this morning when i fully intended on sleeping 'til noon. for the past month i've been pretty busy with work, gym, shopping, general fun etc. i haven't had any time to just relax for a while and i've been clocking in an average of 6 hours of sleep a nite. i'm exahusted, my whole body is aching, i'm starting to look like a raccoon and the thought of another week of work makes me wanna cry.

i think i'm doing too much yet i still have more to do. i still have my CSC course to do (which i have to complete by nov.) and i still have to clear all my stuff from waterloo. those are pretty big projects and i'm not sure how to add them into my schedule.

everything i do day in and day out is either something i love or it's a necessity. work is a necessity. edward i love. friends i love. movies i love. shopping i love. gym i hate, but it's a necessity, haha. sleep i love AND it's a necessity. i already gave up TV and fun stuff on my computer. what's a girl to do? i remember in high school i used to be involved in all sorts of things and i'd just keep going. maybe all the slacking off i did at laurier has made me less energetic. i guess 10 hours of sleep, 4 hours of tv and hours and hours on the internet everyday were a little excessive, huh? or maybe i'm just getting old.

time for: laundry.

SNEAKY COMPUTER TACTICS

the dude i substituting for at work came back from Bulgaria yesterday, out of nowhere, so my boss had to put me in another department. so now i'm chasing after over due accounts. i'm chasing a company which owes over USD30,000 today, fun stuff. too bad they won't answer my calls.

i got assigned to this desk with a functioning new computer, so i was happy cuz i can do lots of surfing and emailing from there. however, there was one problem. the way the computer was set up, my boss had a direct view of my screen. not so good. so of course this had to be remedied. i moved the monitor from the left side of my desk to the right side of my desk. this way, no one can see anything on my screen. yay! he didn't even care, he just asked me if i'm used to the screen being on the right. haha. i love how this office is so friendly and accomodating. my bosses and coworkers are giving my name to people they know who work in accounting. yay! and they dun care if i leave early or get here late, as long as i tell them. then again, i'm paid by the hour, so why should they care?

time for: fuming some more about immature people in my family. namely a 29 year old woman with the mind of a 60 year old, closed minded man.

BREAD or TEA?

What Flavour Are You? I taste like Bread.I taste like Bread.

I am a staple in almost everyone's diet. Friends like me are a complement to any other friends I get on with almost everyone, remaining mostly in the background, but providing substance when it would otherwise be lacking. What Flavour Are You?

So i'm bread... but they also said if i'm not bread, then i'm tea..

What Flavour Are You? Cor blimey, I taste like Tea.Cor blimey, I taste like Tea.

I am a subtle flavour, quiet and polite, gentle, almost ambient. My presence in crowds will often go unnoticed. Best not to spill me on your clothes though, I can leave a nasty stain.

yeah, i think i'm more bread than tea. Quiet, Polite and gentle don't seem to be the right words to discribe me.

SALE SALE SALE!!

I always wanted to work in an office, people say it's boring and there's a lack of creativity, but I disagree. as long as I'm not locked in a tiny cubicle by myself, there'll always be people to talk to and it won't be boring. Besides, if the company doesn't ban internet use, i'll always have something to do. As for the creativity, not a problem them since i don't have any.

Sitting in an air-conditioned room in the summer for 8 hours to "work" sounds decent to me. The work can't be THAT difficult, at least no more difficult than other jobs that exist. (ie. Alaskan crab fisherman, window washers, etc.) Since I started my current job though, I've realized that there's at least one perk in working in an office building: sample sales. They may be from sucky stores sometimes, but just have patience and a good one will come along. And the stuff sells for such low prices, who cares if it's not top-of-the-line or won't last a lifetime?

time for: some more research so i can decide which restaurants to try at summerlicious.

KABOOM, BOOM!!!

THUN-DER! THUN-DER! maybe it'll rain harder enough and power wash the streets of downtown t.o. oh, and maybe it'll wash the bums too. was that mean?

k, might as well start up my own blog too, since everyone else is doing it and we all know how much i like conform to what everybody else is doing. yup.

abbie mentioned that he doesn't know what the hell is going on with anyone anymore cuz everyone's so busy doing this and doing that. he's right. if i didn't have his webpage, i'd never knew what's up to. actually, i started a blog last year in sept., it just wasn't something i wanted to share with people i knew. partly cuz it sucked and partly cuz it was too personal. but it wasn't something i updated regularly anyway, so whatever.

but i will try to update this one as much as possible. and i probably will. since i have to work at one hell of a boring job for the rest of the summer. gotta find some way of passing eight hours.

time for: getting ready for bed. oh shit, is it sunday? scatch that, time for a mud mask.
