Yay!! The trip is booked! At a cost more economical than we orginally thought!
guh? Right. Time to backtrack a little.
Edward has an interview with a school down in ol' Boston, MA and invited me to go with him. At first I was all, "hell ya!", then I was all "but what's there to do?". After reading up on the city, it really seems like a place worthy of a visit.
Then there was the inevitable, "What if my parents won't let me go?" But alas, I know how to handle my parents. The trick is to tell them that I'm going and not ask for permission. I picked up this little trick in OAC/1st year. It may seem ridiculous to some people, but D, you know where I'm coming from.
So then I was really excited about going... until we checked hotel and airfare prices. uhm. how many bills/bones/dollars did you say? eek. But Chris at work kindly looked up packages for me with expedia.ca and found some awesome packages with a hotel smack in the middle of downtown Boston. We checked some gorgeous B&Bs in the area but they were all booked up. Oh well. I don't mind hotels either.
.... this brings me back to the beginning of the entry. Yay!! The trip is booked! At a cost more economical than we orginally thought!
time for: dinner. then prep for my presentation tomorrow. Sarbanes-whatnow?
